Ebenezer and Sumathi are two of those people.
For more than ten years, they have faithfully served leprosy-affected families throughout Tamil Nadu, becoming trusted friends to communities that often feel forgotten.

Originally from Kattukottai in Salem district, Ebenezer and Sumathi began serving with Embrace a Village after seeing firsthand the struggles faced by families living with leprosy.
They quickly realized that healing involves far more than medicine.
It requires presence.

It requires treating every person with dignity and respect.
Today, they travel from village to village providing monthly rice support, assisting with ulcer care, encouraging children through educational programs, and walking alongside families during life’s most difficult moments.
