Many of the children who attend come from families deeply affected by leprosy. Their parents or grandparents often face physical limitations that prevent them from working. Income is limited, and daily life is filled with challenges.
In many homes, there is no electricity for evening study. No quiet space. No one available to help with school lessons.
In these circumstances, education becomes difficult to sustain.
A Place That Changes the Direction
The After-School Program creates a different environment.
Here, children are welcomed with care and patience. Teachers work closely with them—helping with homework, strengthening foundational skills, and building understanding in subjects where they once struggled.
What begins as simple tutoring quickly becomes something more.
Children who once feared school begin to engage.
Those who lacked confidence begin to participate.
And those who were falling behind begin to improve.
